I’m not finished with my edits, but I had to take a break for this post. When I met my husband long ago, he was in a Christian band, Sonseed. He played percussion and the band had about fifteeen members. They even recorded an album called, First Fruits.

Our son called tonight and told us that he was at work and he heard some of the guys listening to a song that sounded familiar to him. He goes to investigate and they are watching a YouTube video. He couldn’t believe they were watching a Sonseed video on YouTube.
Sonseed had gone on a Christian television program and sang one of the songs from the album. They couldn’t fit all the members of the band on stage, so only eight of about fifteen members. My hubby didn’t make the cut.
I don’t know how it ended up on YouTube, but it’s just a must share. Remember this is the early eighties.
So I hope you enjoy this freaky moment with me.

Well Tom... I was laughing through the entire thing. Sometimes I look back and at the 80's and I get a shiver down my spine.

Like I've said on my blog - I've had it on tape for over 25 years and have shown it to hundreds of people. It never fails to make people smile. It's good to know that all kinds of people have a sense of humor. :)

ReplyDeleteMy hubby is a drummer, too, so I've had my share in being a roady, sound tech, etc. Thankfully, he only plays with the worship band at church now.
