One of the great things about Facebook, besides reconnecting with old friends, is photos. My husband's sister recently posted some old family photos (she was testing out her new scanner). I am so grateful because otherwise I wouldn't have them.I thought I would share some of them here with you all.
Doesn't Tom look angelic in this picture? Maybe it was a sign of things to come.

Those are such great pictures. My mom has so many that I often wish I had at a moment when I'm posting. But then I'd have to find it in her many albums. I have hundreds of pix to get organized - which was to be my winter project - hah! We're heading to spring now!
ReplyDeleteI am having such a hard struggle with whether or not to join Facebook. I would love to see who comes out of the woodwork, but I can't afford another cyber obsession!
I especially got a bang out of the picture of Tom's uncle, mom and grandma - with the crossed arms!
Oh those are great! I love OLD family photos too! I am on facebook and it's our upcoming 30th reunion and so everyone is posting all our elementary class pix! What a hoot!

Those are fun pictures! I'd like to post some one of these days. But that requires digging them out of my closet and they are buried deep. Or, they are at my parents' house in AL.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you about that cool aspect of facebook! Just tonight, I found a whole bunch of photos I've never seen before, taken six years ago when we were in China...the one who posted them was with us in China, but we've only seen him once since then and never got to see HIS photos of that trip. He had some really cool ones (not being personally responsible for any baby at the time)! ....seeing those photos just took me back in time--as I am sure you were taken back in time as you first saw your photos on facebook!
