Cannoli Angel

Tom and I had the pleasure of meeting some amazing interns from Streams Canada in Vancouver, BC. We instantly fell in love with them and wanted to take them home.

Over the weekend, one of the lovely young ladies came for a visit. She’s from New York and she bought cannolis. If you have never had a cannoli then you must try one. They’re a great Italian dessert. She bought a huge bag of the filling and the shells separately. (Pictured below. Aren't the mini shells cute?) The reason why she bought them separately is because the shells would soften on a long trip once it's filled. It tastes much better with a crispy shell. Usually the cannoli is bigger but these were mini cannolis and wow they tasted great.

So a big thank you to my Cannoli Angel, who knew the way to my heart is with Italian pastry.

Nope I've never had one of those before and frankly I hope I never do while I'm still trying to lose weight! When I meet my target weight I hope to try one then!!!

I haven't had a cannoli in years! I sold them at the Italian Festival in Rochester in 1984...along with Italian sausages. What a wonderful time...and what a great dessert!

Even though I don't crave sweets, you made my mouth water with those the pics. I'd never seen the mini version before; they're adorable!

Those look wonderful! I love Cannoli!

It has been forever since my last post. I have so much on my plate that I feel overwhelmed. Thank you for checking in though! It's nice to know someone misses me :)

Yum! I succumbed to these in high school. Just a few months ago, I found out my husband had never had a cannoli, so I made him eat one (a mini cannoli like you had). He liked it.

How nice to have a cannoli angel!
