Start Spreading the News. . .
You’re properly wondering why there is a video of Frank Sinatra singing New York, New York…that’s because Tom and I are moving back after being gone for 16 years. We are going back to pastor the Lighthouse Bridge located in Lindenhurst, Long Island. We go with the full blessing of his current employer, John Paul Jackson.
The current pastors (Rick & Kari) are coming here (Dallas) to work with John Paul. Leaving a church family whom you love is never easy. Sometimes following God means making changes in where we live. We understand that fully and when we left Washington it was difficult. Keep Rick, Kari, and the Lighthouse Bridge as they navigate this new change in their lives.
Our trip was wonderful and we couldn’t have felt more welcomed by everyone. What a warm, loving group of people. I feel totally blessed.
When Tom and I knew our time in West Virginia was over, we started looking for what God wanted us to do next. In that time of transition, Tom and I went through an interview process at several churches. We were invited to speak and meet the people. It never failed, each time on the way home Tom would look at me and say, “Na, I could love these people.” Tom has such a big heart and I would laugh because I knew he was being very sincere. After about the second time I’d say, “Tom, I know you can, but could I love these people.” After this trip, I said to Tom, “I could love these people.”
God has bought us full circle. We’ve lived in West Virginia, Washington, Texas and now back to New York. Along the way, we had our ups and downs. We’ve met incredible people who we loved and worked side by side to advance God’s kingdom. Each time it was a new adventure. I’ve often said to Tom, “You jump, I jump Jack.” (Gilmore Girl reference) and I meant it. God keeps giving me opportunity to follow through on my words.
I will tell you more about our trip, the wonderful people and the great food we ate in upcoming posts. So stay tuned.

But... but...
You just got here to Texas and we haven't even had coffee together yet!!!
Seriously, God's blessings upon you as you take this next step. Isn't it amazing when God allows us to "come full circle?!"
Hope this week is full of blessings for you and Tom.
Welcome Home!
Was a great pleasure meeting you and Tom this weekend! You are in our prayers...God bless both of you....
You just missed the New York City snow..:)
Wow! That's a lot of moves in a small amount of time! I know how stressful that can be, so my prayers are with you!
Oh Na, I am soooo excited!!! I will be coming to visit you on L.I.
Hi! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! It's always great to meet new friends in cyberspace! Good luck on the move and let's stay in touch!

Next time I go to NY I'll have to look you up!
I'm so excited to see what God has in store for you there!
I know the gut feeling....it was like God set you up with a "positioning move",,,,,you had to go to Texas so that you would understand the move to NY more clearly......does that make sence?
wow! How exciting! Maybe this is why you never found your dream job there!
Good luck to you and I look forward to reading all about it!
Congrats to the both of you. It will be good to get back to family I think. Blessings and grace on the move....Stride on my friends!!!

I knew both of you would be able to overcome all challenges no matter what :)
Take care!!
I jump you jump makes me think of Titanic =p Good luck in New York! What an exciting opportunity. If you have a minute to sneak in a little prayer for my little fmaily it would be much appreciated. ;) Hubby is working on getting a job now.
Wow, I guess...full circle. Well God's blessings over both of you as you hit the road again. How exciting!!
When Cindy and I lived in NY for just the two years that we did, I can't even imagine going back there again, we are truly West coast gals now! Well as for me, I'll at least be on the west side of Montana...teehee!
Keep us all posted.
I feel like dancing to the song with you, kicking our legs up and everything...a la Broadway! ;)
I'm so happy for both of you...and I can't wait to hear more about it and see pics from your trip!
Wow, just wow! God does work in mysterious ways His wonders to perform.
WOW! That is huge news. And you only just moved to Texas. Maybe this is why you didn't find a job there -- God knew you would be moving again soon. Many blessings....
yeah so happy for you guys!
wow! Isn't that good news! I hope you didn't get all your stuff unpacked from the last move!
:)
HUGE :)
Can't wait to see what God has in store for you and Tom!
Blessings!
Wow! What exciting news! I am so happy for you two.
Wow! I don't know you personally Nadine but I enjoy watching your faith journey and adventures unfold. I love New York and I know those people will be LOVED so well by you and Tom! Congrats on another bend in the road!
Saw this on Tom's blog before yours!!! God's blessing on you as you follow His leadership and direction.
Susan
Wow this is a big move, but you have to go to where the Lord is calling you. I will pray for you.
I am absolutely loving your book. The characters are so rich. I love Regina of course, but I could beat Anthony's face in. I know there is much more to Poppy's story and I feel so sad for Sophia at this point. I hope you plan on writing more. After I read this I am recommending this book to my sister for her book club. There is so much going on with the story that there would be much to talk about. I am only on page 104 and I have lot's of things I am thinking. Hands down this story is becoming one of the best books I have enjoyed this much in a long time.
Wow!! What a change. Good luck as you plan :)
I hope that your move works out well for you. I know it will as God is placing you there.
I'm excited for y'all. Sorry (sort of) that you didn't get to experience a full Texas summer heat wave :)
