Happy Valentine’s Day

I’m married to a wonderful man. He gave me a card and chocolates this morning. I was thrilled. While at work, he stopped by and bought me a dozen yellow roses. (See picture above.) He knew those are my favorite and how delighted I would be to see him in the middle of my day.

I was looking forward to the end of the day because I was so tired. Tom called and suggested we go out to dinner. Funny how quickly my fatigue fled. I met him for dinner at a restaurant called, Bonefish. It was a nice restaurant but very crowded hence the long wait. It didn’t matter because we got to be together. We had a wonderful meal. During our meal Tom told me to look at a couple with a child seating in a booth to my left. “Married or unmarried?” he asked. I took a quick look and noticed the child, the woman and the man all sat on the same side of the booth. I turned to Tom and said “Unmarried.”

The next booth had a man, woman and child. Again he asked, “Married or unmarried?” The man and woman were on opposite sides of the booth and the child was seated next to the man. “Married.”

Observing people can be fun. The way they sat next to each other told us plenty. The “unmarried man” looked off like he was bored and wished the kid was home with a sitter, made us think “unmarried.” The way the “married” man took care of the child next to him made us think “married.”

Now whether or not our observations were correct the funny thing was we agreed. It was fun. So hope your day was as lovely as mine.

I love the pale yellow shade of flowers your husband picked. Dining with my husband and watching people is so quietly fun. It is nice to see the love and respect you have for one another and I can tell it is real.

Your roses are gorgeous. Stephen and I love to people watch. That was one of our favorite hobbies when I was pregnant with our first and we walked thousands of laps around the mall since it was too hot to walk outside.

So sweet..it is fun to people watch..I bet you were right on the money about your predictions of the possible married couples. Once you have been in this business for awhile you get a feel for the real thing..hehe
Sounds like your day was great.

I think that is absolutley lovely that you look forward to going out and spending time with him. My energy always picks up too, when Den wants to do anything with me.

I love to people watch with hubby as well. It sounds like a lovely Valentines Day!
