Yeah, It’s Friday!!

A further update on my book; my editor has been busy, which translates into two more chapters to work on. This means I’ll be busy trying to get more edits done.

Just a side note, you know you’ve being working too hard when….

Let me start my little tale with this bit of information. Part of my job is to call people to make appointments. You might not know this, but many people born in Oregon has a social security that starts with the numbers 541, which by the way is one of the area codes for Oregon. Why did I tell you this? It’s my disclaimer for the rest of the story. Today I was trying to reach someone who lives in Oregon for an appointment. You see where this is heading – that’s right, I started dialing the social security number. I kept saying to myself there is some numbers missing. Something didn’t seem right, and then it hit me. I laughed so hard. I just had to share what I did with everyone. Note to self - you can’t dial someone’s social security number to reach them – it doesn’t work.

I hope you all have had a good week, if not take heart – yeah, it’s Friday! Thank you Jesus for weekends.

That so sounds like something I'd do! Except we can't use SS numbers any more at the university. What a hassle - another set of numbers to have to remember as they assigned new I.D.'s to everyone.

I am so glad you enjoy the twin pictures every Friday. I just can't help myself!

Not an unreasonable mistake for a hard worker like yourself! But maybe an EXTRA restful weekend would do you good? :^D

To all of Nadine's blog peps:

Trust me, she IS working hard, very hard on her book edits - even now, right now she's busy typing away on her laptop. Her book is going to be amazing.

It touches my heart to read your comments, your expressions of love and support. and It means so much to her.

Thank you,
Tom

Oh that is funny! How many times did you dial before it struck you?

We've all done something absent minded.....like putting the salt and pepper shakers in the fridge....:)

Good one! :)

More than once I tried to call someone using the numbers on the right side of my computer keyboard. Now THAT'S bad.

You are so funny! It's a good thing there was a number missing. Who knows who you would have ended up calling!
