Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

Can you hear the angels sing?

I have submitted my book to BookSurge. Now the process is almost done. The hard work is finished. It’s in their hands now. There was such relief to hit the submit button. I’ve worked on this story for ten years. For four and half years it sat in a file on my computer doing nothing. I felt a tugging from God to pick it up again and finish it. It was like starting all over. Working full time, taking care of a family, and church activity made it difficult to devote a lot of time to it. With encouragement from my family and friends, I forged ahead. Tom never gave up on me. He was my biggest cheerleader. Thanks honey for your love and support.

If that was all that happened today, it would have been amazing. But it seems like God has placed His finger on the fast forward button.

My house sold. The buyer is paying cash and they are anxious to move in. There is no loan to contend with, just an inspection. Tom and I happen to be in Texas. It has to do with his new job. We were going to take this opportunity to look around and see about housing. Since the house sold, we got a lead on an apartment. We now have a place to live. We will be moving in less than a month.

Oh my, I have so much to do.

Wow, you certainly have had alot to contend with but congratulations on EVERYTHING!

I'm impressed that your home sold so quickly. Things aren't moving very fast here in my neck of the woods.

I know you'll be moving from WA. Have you enjoyed WA and the area you now live in? My hubby and I are considering OR or WA but am just not sure what area. Any hints or information you'd like to pass on? It would be greatly appreciated.

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE BOOK! WOO HOO!! That is so awesome. I am praying that it sells and sells and sells! What a story of perseverance and holding tight to your dream.

Alas, I confess, I am not so happy with your other news...but that is my selfish heart wanting to keep you and Tom in my life for as long as possible. I love that you are being led by God into the next steps of your destiny.

I love that you will be mentored and covered by such a man of integrity as John Paul. I love that you will still be, indirectly, connected with our church.

I am also tremendously sad to see my favorite pastor and wife move over 2500 miles away. You and Tom have been such life-givers to Di and I. You've been a major factor in our healing and growth over the last few years. I love you guys and...well...I'd be lying if I didn't admit that I am not a little devastated at losing you.

But that's the selfish me talking. Please excuse me and accept my whole-hearted congratulations on both the book and your move. I'll even help you pack the truck...and I promise to smile while I'm doing it.

Woohoo! I'm doing a happy dance right here at my computer.

My goodness, when the Lord decides to dump blessings upon you, He really dumped the whold bucket, didn't he??

All of it is just a sign that you are moving precisely within His will!

Congratulations to you and praising God with you!!!

Blessings! Dawn

PS - I hope you're enjoying Dallas and Texas. Of all the places we've lived, Texas is our favorite!

I wish you well. I put my first novel into print by self-publishing, and it got it out there. Later a publisher in the U.S. picked it up ( I self-published in Australia) and that means it's being more widely distributed. I read parts of "Prisoner of Circumstance" on your other blog, and the story gets me in. If you feel like reading excerpts from my novel, they are on www.threeswans.com.au I should mention, I'm a Christian and like novels like Frank Peretti's. Blessings.

Congrats on the book. I don't know you but I came across your blog through a link from a friends site. I was just wondering how good Booksurge is? I've published one book of inspirational poetry through a company called Xlibris and I'm working on my second but Booksurge sent me some information and I haven't had time to do much research on them so I was just curious what you knew about them.

Thanks for your reply and compliments, Nadine. It will be good when "Prisoner of Circumstance" is in print. You might have a good contemporary Christian thriller there. Go well!

Nadine, this is such an exciting time...wow! I am so thrilled for you!

Your story sitting in your computer for 4 yrs reminds me of mine which is sitting here...it's been about that long since I started mine. But as you said, with raising a family and other responsibilities, it's not easy to devote time to writing.

You are inspiring me that I can one day finish mine!

Congrats on your house being sold, too...
Hugs,
~Tammy

So is their pricing reasonable for publishing? I paid 1200 dollars to publish my first book which was fairly reasonable. The books that BookSurgre Publishes are they available through Borders and BArnes and Noble. I know you said they were available through amazon.

Oh yeaaaahhhh!! Praise God!! I am so very excited for you! I think it is so incredible how the Lord just works things out one by one.
Sometimes I wonder if I should be so in awe of the things the Lord does because it seems so faithless...as if we should know that He will move whether we have faith or not; however, I'd still like to give Him a cheer and stand in awe simply because I am human and He is God.

He never ceases to amaze me...I pray you are blessed beyond your wildest imaginations.
