PODS Are Here

Today the POD people came and dropped off the two PODS for shipping. I am so tired that I can't even think straight. I find myself surrounded by boxes for the second time in six months.

Tomorrow the movers come and load the two PODS. I think once the apartment is cleaned and the PODS are totally packed, I will be so relieved. Hopefully by Thursday my achy bones and muscles will recover.

I will post about our road trip along the way so long as I have a connection. We will be stopping in Monroe, Louisiana on Thursday on our way to Birmingham, Alabama. I'm looking forward to our time with our friends Michael & Elisha.

You are an amazing woman - God has provided you with such strength for this life you've been given. I'll be praying for you over the coming weeks, and for Tom. I'm looking forward to your travel updates.

I still wish we could have met before you left Texas.

Blessings!

We moved twice in 8 months and it was rough. Hang in there. Once everything is on the trucks it will feel so much better!

I have faith that you will be more than able to finish this process. I love PODS, I love watching them get picked up and dropped off, those lifts are very interesting.

I am looking forward to your road trip updates and having you live close by.

I have never heard of PODS before, but DC says he sees them around town, so now I am sure I will notice them.

I can't even imagine moving twice in 6 months - I haven't moved in almost 31 years and just trying to work on mucking out the basement has depressed me lately! Bless your heart.

Is Tom feeling well?

God is certainly the one who has you On the Move. These pods are such a great idea. Will be watching for your journey. Angels all around you is my prayer.

I find those POD things amazing! My dad was in the Navy, so I remember moving many times during my childhood... always with that big, bad moving truck that would take me to a new life... always feeling heartbroken at leaving the old one. As I look back, though, those moves are what shaped me and I've never had a problem with transitions...

Good luck and definitely check in along the way! I'll be looking forward to your updates and adventures!

Well, you and Tom ought to have purged quite a bit of stuff in 6 months!!!! I'm glad you guys found a place to live...expensive in NY I suspect! God's grace on your travels. Take care.

Packing is hard work. I've packed enough times, I'm practically a professional but it doesn't seem to get any easier. It won't be long and you'll be settled!

You're moving to a great place, and I look forward to reading about your road trip! Those Southern folks are good people; just don't get caught speeding! :)

Cool pics, btw. Now fill up those PODS, Chica!

I can't believe those pods!! What an interesting way to move all your stuff. You're lucky you didn't have a huge semi truck parked outside your house for four straight days with cardboard and cellophane lining the hallways and rooms.

Good luck on your trip...i pray you will have a peaceful, safe, and happy one :) love you and tom!
