This brought a tear to my eye. I like that quote by your husband, above.

Very moving clip. I wish I could've joined the others in thanking them personally like that.

I love seeing things like this. My Dad spent 20 years in the US Navy (from 76-96) and so those in the military and national guard have a special place in my heart. Thanks for posting it.

WOW! WOW! WOW! I have to say I've never seen something so powerful make me cry in less than 60 seconds.
Thanks for the eye opener.

Have you ever tried that? After seeing this video some months ago, every time I'm in the airport and service men and women walk by......I, with a pit in my stomach and lump in my throat, begin to clap. It feels a little weird...and a lot strange...but I clap and soon others join in. We don't have the nice back ground music.....but there is a symphony of tears as we applaud those who are serving our country on our behalf. Tears in the eyes of those clapping and those soldiers walking by. It is an amazing experience. I wish it would take off....just like the Minnesota Wave at a football game....that at every airport, every time a troop is flying somewhere.....throngs would stand up and pay honor for their sacrifice.

Beautiful Video!!!!!

Amen. Thank you so much for sharing that. I have family and friends serving in Iraq. The husband of a good friend was serving for a while. His unit was hit, and he lost a leg. One of the men who served under him will tell about how he (my friend's husband) led one of his men to Christ during that tense time. Paul can't remember it, but according to his men that were near, it happened. The man died shortly after that. Man, when people tell them that they have nothing left to fight for, I just get so upset. Wow. Diane, I will try that next time I'm in an airport.

I'm a HUGE fan of our military! Whether you agree with our Iraq policies or not, you've got to admit, those guys and gals are doing a terrific job!
