We started off in Texas and went through all these states: Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and finally New York!!! Traveling through all those states we didn’t have to pay any tolls. To enter the wonderful state of NY we had to pay two – total, $13.00. Ah, tolls, it’s coming back to me now. It was New York State’s way of saying: Welcome home.
I have to tell you as much fun as we have had on our very long trip; it’s great to be home. I look forward to getting the PODS unloaded and sleeping in my own bed. I can’t wait to cook a meal in my own kitchen and to no longer live out of a suitcase.
Tom and I stopped at my sister’s house to see my mom. She lives in Pennsylvania with her. It was good to see my sister, my niece and my brother-in-law also. My mom is 83 and is the sweetest person ever. I loved seeing her and spending time with her. We talk often on the phone (every week) but it’s not the same. I loved all the kisses and hugs I got when I got there and throughout. This is a picture of my mom.
I want to thank all of you who have come along this long journey with Tom and I. I want to thank all of you that we stayed with along the way. Tom and I had a great time together traveling in the car. We look forward to settling in and getting to know the people at the new church. This is an exciting time for us.

Love the sign - too funny!
Your mom looks very special. I am sure she'll be glad to have you closer by.
Now the adventure really begins!
Welcome back home!
Wow you have had quite an adventure!
I just went threw your last few posts, I don't know where I would have unloaded the pods first: Hershey Factory or the Cheesecake place!
Now for another adventure eh?
that is a great photo of your mom! you can tell from her face and her eyes that she gives great hugs. i want one!
You made it! There's no place like home...or NY, for that matter! If only I could travel enough highway where I could see that sign by tomorrow, I'd be off and on my way. But no, the kids have school, hubby has work...and I don't have a job! Hey, I can actually do it! :) (Don't I wish!)
Enjoy your new home! I love the photo of your mom. You can see the sweetness all over her face! She looks very young for her age, btw...and beautiful!
Yeah for being HOME! Hope you settle in quickly.
Love the photo of your mom - I can see the resemblance!
Blessings!

Well if NY doesn't like you, know that we love you ALWAYS! I hope we get to meet your mom when we visit. She is adorable!
Have a nice relaxing time at home.
Aww, how exciting for you!!! I know that while I was moving all i wanted was to "sleep in my own bed"...that was the ONLY thing i needed to feel truly at home. I'm tellin ya. That, and some hot chocolate :) of course!
Love you and Tom,
Jojo

You mom looks sweet!!
Enjoy your unpacking in your new home:)
Wow, what a trip huh? So glad you had a great trip and arrived safe and sound. Hopefully your husband felt well enough to fully enjoy it as well. There's nothing better than quality time with your special someone on a road trip. Seperate from the whole stressful world just out traveling together. Welcome home, even if New York doesn't like you! ha :)
You look like your mom! I'm so glad you got to see her and I am glad that you are home.
Now rest a little if you have time :)
I had fun on your journey. I'd love to take that same road trip sometime!!!
But, I know what you mean about getting home. It's nice to get back in your groove!
OH and your mom looks like the sweetest person ever! xo.
I loved the journey too!
funny sign!
Your mom looks great and you look just like her!
Can't wait to see the pictures of home, all tucked in and settled. What a terrific journey. Now just for updating purposes, did you get moved from Texas to NYork? I thought Texas was the home stop. What important updates did I miss. Sorry, but with all this nice weather I am not getting caught up on my blog reading.
Welcome home Nadine!!! :)
That is so sweet that you were able to see your mother as well. Now you can see her more often?
What a fun trip this has been!! :)
Does the sign seriously say, "We don't like you either?!" Yikes!
Blessings for you upcoming adventures in NY and a new church!
That's great, Nadine. Finally you can settle.
Enjoyed the NY sign!
God bless
